About Our Instructor
I’m Dawn, the face behind Training for Adventures. I've always been passionate about the human body, which started with my love for dance. Although I tried other sports like gymnastics, modern dance was my true calling. I pursued my dream by earning a Bachelor's and Master's degree in dance and co-founded a collaborative modern dance company in New York City. During that time, I also became a certified Personal Trainer and worked with a wide range of clients and health concerns. When the dance company's chapter ended, I decided to go back to school and earn a Master's degree in Nutrition and become a Registered Dietitian as well. Now I incorporate training and nutrition for all kinds of athletes, from weekend warriors to expedition travelers
